As a young child, my father would ask me, "In life sweetheart, do you want to be a leader or a follower?" I would always confidently reply "A leader!" As I matured and observed the world around me, I came to realize that it is harder to lead and easier to follow. My challenge and aspiration in life are to be a leader in every position I find myself in.
I am Eva Mick.
I graduated from Loyola University Chicago with a major in Journalism and a minor in Psychology.
I am a mestizo, coming from a Mexican mother and an American father.
My life is primarily influenced by Mexican culture and I am bilingual in both Spanish and English.
My heart lies in the majestic beauty of the Colorado mountains and I hope to continue my academic and professional degree there.
